Tonight is the opening of a local art gallery show in which I have a couple of paintings. I'm not sure which ones are in yet, but here are the three I submitted.

If you're interested in joining me, it's on North Star Road in Quesnel, BC, at the Quesnel Art Gallery. 7-9 pm.

The three paintings I submitted are about (1) carrying hope through the darkness of winter, (2) the joy of life breaking free in the spring, and (3) the flowers to come as the seeds of life (hope) bloom into summer. Love and hope for life carry us through even the darkest times, as surely as the spring and summer blooms follow the stillness and death (both turmoil and rest) of winter.

If you want more information about the thoughts and inspiration for these paintings, check out my posts on Instagram @jukareyote. I may post more about them here, but for now, this is the best place to look.

I hope you enjoy these paintings. They are about hope and love and the freedom of life.
